I have been using Menzerna, but thinking of giving Poorboy products a try.

Thanks!

SSR2 and SSR1 are the equivalents respectively. However, SSR2.5 has a little more "cut" to it and seems to be the more popular choice from what I've seen.

Having used both product lines I'd have to say that there aren't any equivalents. SSR1 is more mild than FPII and IP is between SSR2 and 2.5 yet finishes better than both. I *WISH* Autogeek would start carrying these so I don't have to get them elsewhere.:)

So true.

Poorboys SSR 2.5 and 1.0 when used in conjunction will provide a similar experience. I would also highly suggest trying the Optimum Polish. It works longer and provides multiple tasks. We are always looking to add lines and Menzerna is one I am sure everyone wants to carry, but sometimes previous contracts and regional guarantees can block them. I will make sure they see this request however ....

We are working with a few vendors at this time, but unfortunately at the moment we just don’t have the extra space for any new product lines. However, as many of you know we are getting a new and bigger building at the end of the year and we will be able to start selling some of these products then.

I would say IP is equivalent to SSR2.5 while FP2 is between SSR1 and SSR2.

If IP is close to 2.5 and FP is inbetween 1 and 2...Would going from 2.5 to 1 provide a decent finish?

It sure will. After you get experience using the product there are many forum members that clain that PB 2.5 can finish off and go directly to an LSP. I tend to over polish so I always go to SSR 1 to complete the detail then go to my LSP.

How about Menzerna Power Gloss. Which Poorboys product is equivelant to this. It would be nice to just carry all the Poorboys products to remove scratches and polish out old dull paint I encounter in my car detailing business

SSR3 is close if not the same cutting power as Power Gloss. Both will do amazing things when worked properly.

I would say IP is equivalent to SSR2.5 while FP2 is between SSR1 and SSR2.

That is also my take on those products. I would add... the PB's products are more user friendly, but in the hands of a knowledgeable user, the Menzerna products give slightly better results.
