From the Menzerna chart PO85U has a cutting power of 3 and PO106FF/FA has a cutting power of 2.5.

Since PO106FF has a cutting power of 2.5 on ceramic clear coats how much of a cut would it be on a conventional clear coat (ACURA) roughly?

I've read only good things about PO106FF and have not found much on PO85U. I'm afraid if i use PO106FF i will be taking off more clear coat than necessary. Menzerna experts please chime in!

Use the same chart for both clear coats. 106ff is a finishing polish and has very little cut compared to SIP or Power Gloss. What is the condition of your paint, color, make and year of your car?

2007 Acura, Nighthawk Black Pearl, paint in good condition. Has minor swirls and some holograming.

106 will rock for your Acura! You could use it with a white pad 1st then jewel it with black or blue..you will be amazed.

Rats! I already placed the order for PO85U. I was afraid that 106FF/FA would be to aggressive. I've gotten good results with Micro polish so hopefully this is a little more aggressive 3 compared to 1. Acura clear coats are very soft.

I use PO85U with an orange 4" lo pro pad on a polishing pal to hand polish the tight areas that aren't accessible with a machine. Nice to use by hand.

Search is your friend. I have a 2007 NBP TL-S. I used PO106FF on my last detail. You will have no issues with the PO106FF. However, I would recommend the new PO106FA since it is supposed to dust less. The dusting is my only gripe about the PO106FF. Otherwise, it is the best polish I have ever used.
