Foam / Wool Pads & Accessories for Rotary/Circular Polishers (http://www.autogeek.net/rotary-foam-pads.html)
Rotary Flexible Backing Plate- Manufactured by Lake Country just for rotary polishers. Hook and loop backing plates for your makita 9227, Dewalt 849. (http://www.autogeek.net/lc43175.html)

I have the Meguiars W65. It depends what size pads you have in mind. That will dictate the size of the BP you want to get. For the Makita, all screw-on type BP will work, but you can also get the drive adapter for self-centered type pads...

thanks. i bought the 7.5 inch LC CCS kit.
so i think a 6 inch backing plate would work?
and can anyone tell me how to put it on?

Push you lock button down on the rotary and screw the backing to the head of the rotary.

Same as Ashpalt said except unscrew instead of screw

Hold down the lock button on the head of the unit and simply unscrew
