whats going on folks gonna ask a ? I need to step up to a rotary and wondering what is a good rotary to start with. I was looking at AG and saw this FLEX L3403 VRG and looks good would that be a good buy or the makita 9227c . I will be practicing on old hoods before i go ahead and try it on peoples cars that want there cars polished Feed back please and oh yea autogeek rocks :righton:

9227, I have one and it has been rock solid, very few warantee issues with it as well.

I have a Hitachi now, but likely to try the new lighter Flex if purchase was made today.

thanks guys for the input i might just go ahead and buy the makita but that flex looks good though i guess I'll flip a coin or something :confused:

One thing to keep in mind is weight. I use a Rotary now. Had a Dewalt for a while, was heavy as heck, switched to a Snap On actually (got a deal on it), and its only a few lbs lighter, but feels like half the weight...
