Well, I live in tennessee and the amount of bugs out here are unreal......My question is off course How to get rid of the super tough bug splats.......Some have eaten through the paint so some advice on how to fill those small holes and make look new would be great.

Ive tried meguires, Turtles and a crap load of removers and they dont do squat.

I have the liquid glass kit and I was wondering if multiple treatments with the precleaner would help? it's all on the hood.....What sucks is that the liquid glass made my Xterra look stunning and the DP wheel kit is unbeatable.....but those bug marks and the couple of holes they burned through the paint have made it from being perfect.

Im glad I found this place, Ive learned alot and My vehicles have never looked better........as a matter of fact after my first application of the liquid glass kit my car felt like silk when I touch the paint.

You guys are badass!

But any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks. I'll give those a try and report back on how they worked out.

Have you tried good ole WD40? Every garage usually has at least one can lying around, and I've found it to be remarkably effiffient at removing road tar and oil marks. Don't see why it wouldn't work on bugs either? Let me know...

Give this a shot:

I have one and it definitely helps. It's tough on bugs and tar but won't hurt your paint. Just dunk it in your wash bucket and scrub the bugs away.
