Just wondering if I should let it go untouched for a certain amount of time or apply a certain product right away to protect it.

Just wondering what I should do if anything.

It's just a garage kept weekend car that doesn't seem rain or the cold.

In the long run I am more interested in protecting the paint and the car in general then I am making sure it shines like the sun.

But any advice I will be happy to get.

Check with your painter on when you can wax. Paint needs to out gas before sealing or waxing. Since its garaged I would wait at least a month before waxing. Or if you plan to drive it soon you can give it a light glaze to give you some protection. What color is it?

Well I would like to drive it right away I imagine since it's been off the road for a year. So although I don't have any plans to drive anywhere I am sure I can make some excuses to drive it :)

I am not exact on the paint color but I beleive it's called Alaska Blue Metalic. I thought about painting it orange but this color looks really good on cloudy days. It just pops when it's coming down the road.
