I got the Langka wet sand 2000 kit and did a small section of my 2006 black Ridgeline yesterday. It looks like the scratches came out, and I do not think I went to deep, (well hope), I am wondering now what is my best option to restore the shine and remove the haze left from sanding. I started with a cloth using the step A compound. But I have a PC 7424 and thought I might get better results with that. I also have the Pinnacle XMT #2 Intermediate and #1Fine swirl removers. Think I may have some other polishing compounds. Is #9 a polish, I forget.

What are the best ways to finish this up?

Any help is appreciated.

polishing is the next step ... try the XMT's you have with number two and abrasive pad on PC. Then move down the pad and polish choice. Usually this will take alot of time, after wetsanding I highly suggest a rotary for polishing.

Should I work with the middle orange pad or rougher to start?

likely you will use XMT2 and orange pad, but start with white. Then you can come back as needed too.

i dont think the pc with xmt2 will do much for wet sanding marks, but ive seen stranger things.

I agree from what I was told after wetsanding only a rotary will work not a DA polisher, Now I know the PC will improve the haze and sanding marks but I dont think it will get them all they way out but hey maybe im wrong........
