This vehicle was purchased last night. It still had the plastic in the floors! The Hummer I did last week got traded in for this jewel. She immediately wanted me to take and give the full pamplered treatment.
Here's the process....

DP's Mild Swirl Eliminator
(EDGE 2000 Green Med. Cut Pad)

DP's Final Finishing Polish
(EDGE 2000 Orange Polishing Pad)

DP's Max Wax
(Applied and removed by hand...2 coats)

Let this be my full DP (Detailer's Pride) review. I've been using Max Wax with great results and the rest of the line up proves the same. DP's MSE was easy to use and removed the fine towelling swirls left by the dealer. Very minimal dusting and a little goes a long way. Next, DP's FFP, gave the finish nice depth and glow. The customer told me she didn't even know it was a metallic paint! Finished it off with 2 nice coats of the Max Wax. Once again, I know why this is my new go-to wax.
In all, I was very pleased with the DP line.

Sweet job, you won't beleive it but that is the 1st King Ranch i've ever seen. I seen many products advertised for the ford king ranch on ebay and they buy'em like crazy.. The interior isnt for me but it does look as sweet as the expedition ..

I have 4 bottles of Ford's cleaner made for this leather. 30 bucks a bottle! There are alot of KR trucks here but this is the first Expedition I've ever seen. It matches her husband's F-250 KR.

nice ride, looks great! One thing though.....why grey carpet/interior and brown leather seats and accents? Those two colors go together like fish and ice cream:p Interior should have been beige or tan. Great job on the detail though!

It matches her husband's F-250 KR.I think Duragloss makes the leather products for Ford, and I think the King Ranch has a specific cleaner/conditioner you have to use as well. I know other guys have tried otc/boutique stuff and end up with staining or smearing on the King Ranch leather. I have Ford's regular leather stuff and it works great.

You must be tired after the Ram and that, I'll go have a beer for you . What did you use for the tires, DP Max Wax looks great (wet but doesn't mute flake).

I've been using Armor Tire Gel on the last 12 car I've done. I still have half of a bottle too. Stuff is awesome! Once the applicator is primed, only takes a small amount. Gets brighter after about 10 minutes too.
You all need to try it. 6 bucks at Wal-Mart.

Very nice work. Did you find it to go quicker since it was a brand new vehicle? By the way, I know I asked this about the Dodge, but what was the time split between the exterior and the interior?

Looks very sweet, Justin. By the way, what leather conditioner you use for detailing?

This one took about 3 hours on the exterior and about 1 hour on the interior.
Paid 200.00.

This one, I used Ford's King Ranch leather cleaner. All others get Meguiar's Pro Line Leather Cleaner. I have some Souveran....just haven't had the chance to use it. It's next though.

How do you reach the top of such a large vehicle to apply the proper pressure on the PC? I'm asking because I saw, in addition to this King Ranch, (in another post) that you also did a 2005 Odyssey minivan. I have a the same minvan and need to figure out a way to polish the top.

Right now, I'm thinking the only way is to remove the second row seats, put a crate in there to stand on along with a step ladder on the outside. I'm concerned about maintaining my balance though.

Yeah, that's a good question (about polishing the top of big vehicles). I'm curious about that too.
