I have been meaning to post these pics for a while. Here is a little st up I have been using to help me with all the literal aspects of detailing such as;
Pad and Product combos and dilution ratios.
Let me explain, since I'm always trying new things and or new dilution ratios for products, I tend to find myself forgeting what I was using or what is the ratio to use, so I bought a little eraser board were I can write down what ratios go with what product, so if I forget all I have to do is take a quick look at my board. In addition I have all my bottles labeled and numbered so for easier identification, numbers on the bottles correspond to the numbers on the ratios I wrote on the board. And I mounted a calculator above the board to calculate the ratios easier, everything is right there. Also I put up a few different charts that came with different products, like pad and compound combo charts to furhter make detailing easier. I just figured I would share, its helped me out so maybe it canhelp some of you out.

Here are a few picks of what I'm talking about.

Those ZEP bottles are very nice. By the way, if you are looking for inexpensive clay lube, then check my solution out - 2 oz of Optimum No rinse add to 1 gallon of water, then add 1/2 oz of Optimum car wash. Adding high quality soap will add additional lubricity, but don't add more, otherwise you might dry out your clay bar. It's very cost efficient, clay lube will be very slick, even slicker then Megs Final Inspection, or Lst touch spray detailer, while costing you only a fraction o their cost...1 oz of Optimum soap is about 25 cents (when bought by gallon), 2 oz of No rinse 62.5 cents (31.25 cents per oz when bought by gallon)...that's less then $1 per gallon of clay lube!
Sure, Pinnacle clay lube is better, but for this much, you can't buy even 16 oz bottle of junk clay lube, like Megs quick detailer (original red bottle), which sucks...
