This 05 530i was in pretty good shape. Light scratches and the wheel spoke flats were awful...so I compounded them too! (easy to do with the shop lift).

This is another hard clear coated Bimmer and I tried 3M Extra Cut and a foam pad, but it was taking too long. Switched to System One and wool for compounding and ramped up to Menzerna 106ff for polishing. The results are really nice! Final protection was Meguiar's #21 Synthetic for a high gloss.

The dealer said he bought some great cars at the auction, so I have a few days off!

Nice job, but its not black!

It was when I started...doggone! Too much pressure on the wool pad...so that's primer shined to perfection!

Have a good one Rsurfer. I hear gas prices are sky high in the islands.

TotoYeah, that silver primer sure looks good. LOL I need to get a car that runs on regular. My G runs on premium @ $4.09 gal. and im getting 11 miles to a gallon. Live and work in town so all stop and go traffic. Hell I had to do a complete brake job at less than 10K

i would love to find premium for $4.09 gal. regular here is $4.15 and premium is $4.35. and that is the cheapest i have personaly seen. have heard of it being a few cents cheaper couple miles away but have not seen it yet
