A little back story:

As some of you may recall, I detailed my car a while back

http://i63.photobucket.com/albums/h143/krzdimond/Buick/100_1621.jpg

Well, my neighbor was impressed and asked if I could do his car. I did. My co-worker was also impressed and asked if I could do his truck, which I did. Now I am in trouble. They both told others and now I have 4 cars I need to do this weekend:righton:

All I have is the following:

3/4 bottle of ASR
7/8 bottle of AFP
pretty much new tub of SSII
PC 7424
Body shampoo
7/8 bottle bodywork paint lotion
Crystal Mist spray (which DID NOT come with a sprayer:eek:)
various MF towels
2 each of orange, white and gray 5.5 LC pads
1/2 bottle Gold class wax

and lastly, a 12gal Shop*vac with blower and a 2550psi gas pressure washer.

Now these 4 will be my first PAYING customers (last 2 were barter... I do this if you do that....)

I am starting to detail on the side and as of now have no intention of doing this for a living (not YET at least)

what I need help on is this:

What are the ESSENTIALS? I'm not looking for those special "incase you need it" products. Just the bare min as the $$ is tight until I can get more business.
Someone here had said that in 1 detail job he went through 47(?) MF towels. Do you REALLY need that much? I guess what I'm asking (in a long winded kinda way:D) is if you had it all to do over again, what would you have started with and what can you do without? Remember, I am new at this and still slow, so cost per hour is still a factor.

TIA

Robert

:iagree::whs: perfect list, IMO. For awhile stick with one product in each catagory. That will make it more cost effective and easier to track.
