A bird just left present on my car. I got rid of most of it but there is still some residue left. I just got the car and haven't bought anything online for it. Is there anything I can get "over the counter" to take care of it?

try some vinegar first ... if not, then move to something abrasive. You should be able to get a paint polish locally. Then reprotect...
