I bought a license plate frame that has a polycarbonate lens. When I received it, it had a few scratches on the lens. I tried Meguiars plast-x, it left swirls in the little area I tested. The same thing happened when I tried the Novus #2. I am thinking of trying the Meguiars #10 and #17 combo. Apparently this polycarbonate is not of the scratch-resistant variety. I really didn't expect the Novus #2 to scratch it and yes I followed with Novus #1 but it didn't help. The Diamondite clear plastic armor doesn't hide the scratches either. Anybody had a similar problem?

As memory serves, Novus 3 is actually for scratch removal and then move down the product line 2 to 1 in order to lessen the appearance. We use to use them on plastic signs in office. Obviously we are not talking about significant scratching however.
