I finally got around to finishing up the ceramic coating on Tamie's car. This is her 2023 CX-30 Turbo Premium Plus Trim finished in Snowflake White Pearl Mica over Graphite and Mocha Leather.

In addition to a full paint correction, aka my Signature Perfection Package, using my Flex 3401's and light polishing pads with GYEON Primer, she is now wearing GYEON's Syncro EVO System. All paint, Glass, Plastic Trim, and Wheels have their respective coatings applied. CarPro Dlux on trim and GYEON Q2 RIM on the wheels. I still have a full bottle of NeverWet for Glass and am following the upcoming release of their new product too. Great stuff!

Installed several little cosmetic mods and tweaks and in the end got her personalized for us and my wife to enjoy. Hood struts, hingle covers, screw covers, etc.... Gloss Black badges are on my garage desk to swap out in the coming weeks too.

Next up PPF that finally came in but I won’t be able to do until the end of this month. After that I’ll get the front windows tinted at 35% to match the factory privacy tint.

Couple interior shots after adding in the Tux Mats and giving the leather a nice once over with a little CarPro Pearl diluted 4:1 so it remains satin in appearance.

Not the best lighting to see it but I LOVE how the perforations and stitching all around match the brown interior.

Looks great....question....I have MOHS EVO on my truck.....did not go the SYNCRO route.....what does the addition of SKIN do for you? Increased longevity....better chemical resistance?

Yes and Yes and an overall better hydrophobic property. The contact angle is very nice. Syncro comes with enough product for 4 or so vehicles too. It does neutralize that Slick Feeling of Mohs EVO, though.

You can get the slickness back using Cure or Ceramic Detailer as a drying aid.

The car looks great!

I can not imagine SKIN actually making Mohs water behavior even better. I applied Mohs EVO alone to my wife's SUV and the beading and sheeting is better than anything I've ever applied as it is!

I concur.

After having to redo my coating thanks to Hall Honda not following directions, I applied Synchro to my car for the second time. About 2/3 of the way through applying Skin I pretty much said "#### this ####" and got tired of the instant loss of slickness. The tackiness from Skin makes the installation less than pleasant compared to Mohs alone. The remaining 1/3 of my car was coated with a second layer of Mohs just for the hell of it so I have a direct comparison between Skin and Mohs. I can say, without a shadow of a doubt, that there is no visible difference in gloss or water behavior between the two. If you absolutely have to have two layers I'll take two layers of Mohs all day long over Syncro any day. I still had about half a bottle of Skin left and just threw it out.

Agree. MOHS EVO is my go-to for coatings. Skin just helps the contact angle. It's subtle but noticeable. Water beads after a rain on a clean car are tight, nearly perfectly round marbles. My Accord has been done for a while and is still going strong.
