A customer of mine (in the other portion of the shop we installed his wheels/tires, suspension, and GIAC flashed his ECU) bought this car from Chicago and it was ABSOLUTELY trashed. He's kind of new to the car culture and didn't understand just how terrible his paint was. He trusts me and decided to give his car to me for exterior paint correction. The car has been resprayed and had a few clear coat runs, needed to be wetsanded in areas, major buffer marks, swirls, shallow scratches....etc...basically trashed. Anyways, here are the results

1.Washed wheels and tires with P21s wheel gel, schmitt wheel mit, and a tire scrub brush.
2.Cleaned wheel liners with PP cut 5:1 (5 parts water) and an assortment of brushes
3.Wetsanded exhaust pipes (stock Audi) with 1500 then 2000 then Mothers Billit (It's all I had)
4.Washed with Meguiars Gold Class Shampoo and Conditioner (lots of guys bash me for this but I swear by the stuff) and a foam gun, microfiber wash mit, 2 bucket method, dry using leather shamois and microfibers
5. Clayed using Pinnacle ultra poly clay
6. Wetsanded the clearcoat run off of the trunklid 2000
7. Pinnacle XMT #4 with Lake Country CCS Yellow and PC7424 on entire hood and trunk lid, then spot correct on other parts of the car
8. Pinnacle XMT #3 with Lake Country CCS Orange and PC7424 on entire vehicle (2 passes required to obtain the results I wanted)
9. 3M Finnesse-It2 with Lake Country CCS White and PC7424 on entire vehicle
10. Wheels dressed with Meguiar's Endurance
11. P21s Paintwork Cleanser on entire vehicle
12. Stoner Invisible glass on windows
13. DP MaxWax on wheels and Paint

(I also debadged the A4 and 1.8t off the trunk list as requested and installed a trunklip spoiler)
Please forgive the pictures as my shoplight burnt out (no extra bulbs and I was in that "detailing zone" so I didn't go get new) so I don't have a good lightsource to focus on.

Looks great.

Question?
7. Pinnacle XMT #4 with Lake Country CCS Yellow and PC7424 on entire hood and trunk lid, then spot correct on other parts of the car.

How are you liking this product? How many passed did you do with it?

Thanks

It cuts QUICK....It's a great compound for a PC7424.... Honestly, I see it being too harsh with a rotary.
