Hi Everyone!

I'm in need of a new APC/Degreaser. I've read countless posts, watched several videos, and still am unsure of what to try. I've just finished a gallon of McKee's Hi Intensity APC Plus. I kept 2 dilutions at all times - 1:4 (Heavy Duty) and 1:10 (Light Duty). It was fine, but I'd like something else to try.

I have a dedicated interior cleaner (P&S Xpress Interior at 1:1) and a dedicated wheel/tire cleaner (P&S Brake Buster at 1:1). I don't have any need to change those.

I've tried a few 3D products over the years and have always been impressed and pleased. I've been looking at 3D Orange 109 (I think this used to be 88) and 3D APC 104. Is there overlap with these? Is choosing one of these sufficient if I have a couple of different dilutions?

I'd be using this for: light engine compartment cleaning, maybe an occasional heavier engine compartment cleaning, occasional dirtier areas like the fuel filler door/cap, maybe some tough bug splatter, tar, road grime, etc, nasty door jambs and bottoms of the doors, and other similar situations. Oh, and the occasional oil drip or mishap on the garage floor that just requires a little spritz and wipe. I'll likely never use this product for interior cleaning, since I have the dedicated product already.

Thoughts and recommendations? Any advice is welcome. Thank you!

A lot of detailers use 3D “Grand Slam”. It can be cut to 20:1 for light cleaning and of course all the way to neat.

I had their Orange Degreaser but did not replace it when I had used it up. Currently I use BH Surfex and don’t see me changing. It is extremely versatile.
