Hi, I was just wondering what you guys would use to make a silver car really pop and also have a nice deep wet shine? I can't get Poorboys white diamond glaze in Australia yet so just wondering what else would work. I dont have a machine so its got to something i can use by hand.

If it has flakes DP MaxWax works very well. Here it is on an 07'' Dark Blue FUsion

I like OCW V2 on my diamond graphite G35. Has really nice depth and shine

Prep is the key....DG #501 with your PC orange pad...Top with a wax like MaxWax or pinnacle SSII paste......

The best waxes I have seen on silver are probably max wax, SSII, or liquid Sov. Since you probably cant do much polishing without a machine I would suggest a glaze to try and fill in any imperfections.

AIO + UPP is great on silver

Tend to like DG 501 then a sealant or glaze over wax on silver--especially metallic flake. IMHO, wax tends to mute flakes to my eyes while sealants/glazes brighten them. Remember, wax's inherent ability is a "warm" look that looks wonderful on dark colors but hardly "pops" flakes...again at least to my eyes.

Believe me, I've tried Liquid Souveran and Clearkote Carnauba Wax and neither work as well as an Opti-Seal like product. Plus it attracts much less dust/pollen.

Heres a pic of my Evo. It was done with Poorboys 2.5, Menz final polish, Poorboys EX-P and topped with Collinite 845 as it was winter and snowing and needed some projection:

As you can see from the 1st pic. the flake really stands out.
