I bought a new 09 Blue metallic Corolla and am looking for suggestions for complete exterior detail by hand. I have bought the Pinnacle Bodywork Shampoo and Crystal Mist Detail Spray and just noticed the Pinnacle Souveran Sizzling Shine Kit already includes the items. I have only washed it once with ONR, no other sealants, waxes, CB etc has touched the car yet.

Is this kit suitable for a complete detail without any additional items? Maybe a claybar?

Would I need to order additional application pads and polishing cloths. I have enough, I think, of the Cobra Drying towels.

Or what would be recommended to fully make that Blue "pop".
I live in apts that is why it is why hand and not a PC.

Thanks!

EDIT to Add: What is the Sandwich bag trick to see if a clay bar is needed?

That's a perfect kit to do your car by hand, IMO. Yeah, I'd add a clay plus clay lube. The sandwich bag is put on your hand like a mitt then rub it on your paint. If it grabs, catches, skips, feels rough then your paint needs claying.

AND, :welcome:

What order do I apply these items?

Shampoo>Lotion>Wax>Detail Spray? Does the lotion act as a sealant?

I will get the Shine Kit and the Pinnacle Ultra Body Clay, maybe another sheepskin MF mit.
Am I missing anything?

Thanks For your assistance!
