Old DIYer. Newer coatings seem to be about easier. What ceramic coating is most brilliant?

I liked the old car pro C Quartz UK, but the new versions seems to be more about ease of application. What should i look for if I want the most shine? SiO2 content or?

Are any of the wipe on - - wipe off coatings really very shiny? Wouldn't mind doing every 90 days - if I could get really shiny.

Thanks for any help.

Shine will mostly come from the paint correction process.

^^^This. Your paint correction/condition will be what you see 'under' the coating or any LSP. Now it can add a dimension/added 'look' to your work, but your prep work is key.

Yeah it's all about prep, prep and more prep. The Ceramic coating is like the QB and the chemical and mechanical decon and polishing are the O-line[emoji779]️

Cure or Pure?

Pure EVO could be up the OP's requirements, as would Gyeon Can Coat EVO for it's wipe on, wipe off application.

I've got Gyeon Pure EVO on my car and think it's pretty damn glossy[emoji106][emoji106]

I have Pure Evo and love it. Looks like candy.
You can also kick it up with a quality topper like Boost from Nv or GlassParency.

After using Pure EVO and Mohs EVO, I'd say Mohs is much more glassy than Pure. Both are amazing and look good. I'm running them side by side right now with Pure on my car and Mohs on the wife's. Pure has a deeper Candy-coating look while Mohs is a more reflective and glassy IMO.

Either coating will get you years of protection. I found Mohs Evo to be extremely easy to apply, more so than Pure Evo or CQuartz UK, and neither of those were very difficult.

What did you find easier?

I thought with longer working times pure would be easier…

Sent from my iPhone using TapatalkThe wipeoff is easier, super slick, not tacky like pure can be.

Mohs Evo is easy to apply, easy to wipe off, and looks fabulous.

I'm most likely going to put Mohs EVO on my new Mustang when it arrives. Not that I'm unhappy with Pure EVO, but I want the slicker feel and glassier look on solid red that Mohs will provide.

New Mustang coming!?!? Tell me more!

If I ever hit the lotto and went on a car buying spree, a Mustang would be in the mix…nobody makes a V8 sound as good as Ford does!
