I've been really liking the TRC Ultra Utility Brush for larger tires. Mainly used with Carpro Perl, but any liquid dressing works.

I use brushes 85% of the time and some pads but this only shines on the old school large profile tires.I almost forgot where I even had it for a long time.

I have that brush, but tbo I wouldn’t consider it to be all that ideal for applying tire dressings due to the perfect straight length of the bristles and also their stiffness.

I reserve mine strictly for convertible top cleaning.

You should consider trying this brush if it’s available to you. The bristles are flag tipped and softer, allowing for better contouring against the sidewall. The bristles don’t bounce back into shape the way that round brush does, resulting in smoother application.

I'll take pictures when I try it. I've seen it done on plenty of videos and I like the concept. Like I said the green flag tip is my go to for 90%

I think you are confusing Rag Top for The Rag Company. That brush I have pictured has soft bristles much like a flag tipped brush.

I've had other wooden handle brushes do the same when used for wheel cleaning. It's good for flat wheel faces, but I prefer it for dressings.

I’m aware you said Rag Co. and mines Ragtopp. Knowing Rag Co. it wouldn’t surprise me if they’re identical, even down to the bristles. Plus the fact that they’re still perfectly straight in shape like day 1 just like a flat top is another telling sign that they’re the same brush, just different color.

Yea they’re “soft” but they’re also dense to the point where as a whole it’s a somewhat firm brush that doesn’t lose its shape.

Edit: Looking closer at your pics I now see a slight difference that you’re describing in the bristles.

Looks like you have large hands. That could be why it works great for you.
