Just got this bad-boy:
Demo Model Prolux Professional Shop Wall Mounted Garage Vac Wet Dry Pi
– Prolux Cleaners (https://proluxcleaners.com/products/demo-model-prolux-professional-shop-wall-mounted-garage-vac-wet-dry-pick-up)

I wanted good suction, blower function, wet/dry if possible, and a long hose.

I compared this to the MetroVac models, and the VacuMaid.

Prolux has more suction and CFM, and was slightly cheaper.

I love it. A huge upgrade from a shop vac or the 18v cordless Ryobi.
Reasonably quiet, less than a shopvac.

My wife put it to work vacuuming our giant mini van.
Really nice to vacuum the carpet, dashboard, etc with the various attachment.

I used to hate vacuuming, now its actually quite enjoyable.
Its also really convenient to vacuum the garage floor and not have to drag around some frustrating contraption.

Attachments and hose aren't top notch, I'll probably upgrade to a Mr Nozzle setup and snipe some of the MetroVac attachments.

I highly recommend this unit!

I've been eyeballing this unit for quite some time now, but have been hesitant to pull the trigger. Was it difficult to mount on the wall? What are your concerns with the hose and attachments?

Super easy to mount to the wall.
Just screw the plate onto the wall, then pick up and hook the unit onto the mounting plate.

Those hose isn't bad... it's long and doesn't kink.
It's bendy and not a garbage shop vac hose.

It's just not as... flexible or as durable as a better hose.
You can tell they saved some money here.
But for most normal people, it's just fine.

And the attachments aren't bad either.
I just wanted a tiny crevice brush tool, and the claw tool is pretty lackluster.

But the brush tool, the floor attachment, crevice tool and brush attachment are fine.

They have a very good (30 day?) return policy if you want a safety net

Awesome. I didn't know you could get a demo model, at that price point it becomes even more appealing.

$380, demo model.
Seems virtually brand new to me

Kinda pricey for a vac. But if it’s good then it’s worth it.

I called them. It has 100 inches of lift. That's the only vacuum spec that really matters.

Not sure how that measures up comparatively.

All I know is, it feels double the suction of my 18v ryobi, and about 40% more than my shop vac, with the removal of hassle of hauling around a vac, it can suck up water and be used a s a blower.

I highly recommend this unit if this is the use case you need.

Nice work! :dblthumb2:

Vacuums annoy me, so having something like that would be right up my alley.

I researched wall mount wet dry vacs for an hour and was ready to pull the trigger on a prolux unit only to find out they are completely out of stock. I fear they are not making them anymore because EVERY store is out of stock. :( There are no other mid-range wall mount wet dry vacs out there. Either you get super cheap Bissel crap or super high end 1k dollar range.
