Hi folks, maybe we could get a little discussion going on about what we bought for the summer. For me at least it was hours of surfing over online detailing stores. :D So it's good to be done with it.

Here's my order just 30 minutes ago.

Rupes Waffle Pads Ultra Fine x 2
Rupes Waffle Pads Fine x 1
Solution Finish 1 oz x 1
Blue 9" Utility Wheel Brush x 1
POPO Scrub Sushi x 1
ShineMate 5" Soft Rotary Backing Plate (5/8 x 11) x 1

All firsts

- Using a proper trim restorer
- Jeweling my paint with a rotary
- Using a relatively aggressive interior cleaning tool
- Waffle pads
- Quality wheel brush that should make wheel cleaning quick and easy.

Can't wait to try the rupes waffle pads. I will be trying them on my DA too!

One thing i really like about rupes DA pads is how precisely the Velcro fits my backing plate. I hope the waffle pads are the same way.

How much did my wife pay you to post this and bait me?!

I've spent way too much this Spring on PolishAngel, Mitchell & King, and DIY Detail thus far. I've also gone for a few Kamikaze items including some of the new d'elegance stock.

I've been on a microfiber kick trying out various options as well. Newest additions are from 3D, DIY Detail, Klin, and Autofiber Max Dreadnought. I've also bought various wheel brushes and the AF barrel blade + window reach kit.

I took advantage of the CSW free membership month and tried a few items. Enjoying the Veros brand they stock.

Most recently I got in on some Labocosmetica liquidation and bought a wash + protect kit of chemicals I'm excited to try but clearly, based on the above, there's a queue.

I keep telling myself it's all fine as a hobby and I've only been back into it for about a year after 15yrs away but I'm not sure how much longer I can keep excusing myself. [emoji1787]

How you like the KCX polishes? Never tried them. The only product i have from them is a really nice APC called greenstar.

With most items OUT OF STOCK nothing. I placed my spring order months ago, so I am pretty well stocked up.

Strano/koni/panhard is planned for my Z, I doubt this summer though. Although some of it may come in the form of Christmas gifts. I was looking at the UMI on car adjustable panhard bar. What about you?

Detailing wise I think I’m all set with what I have.

I went with a company called Massive Speed System. Double adjustable with roto ends for $100. It's a way solid/ nice piece. I think they are made in Chicago.

I'm hoping this Sunday to do it all. These cars have such a awful stance stock lol. I guess I just went for speed first now it's suspension time.

I really like Labocosmetica. So far I've tried primus, purifica, leale, hydra and Omnia 2.0.

- Leale is another really nice medium polish. Frankly it reminds somewhat to sonax perfect finish.
- Purifica smells great, I even used it as a bucket wash, I actually think it's best to use it that way. (When I get home I'm going to foam my car down with primus, rinse
and bucket wash with purifica.)
- Omina 2.0 is ok, not much smell but its a concentrate.
- Hydra i diluted 1:5 i think i diluted to far, i tried it a small area of my interior, it was ok but I'm just getting into interior detailing frankly.

I might pick up fiero, panel prep and iron remover once they release their new rinseless under the maniac line. Most all their products are concentrates. Its a very good brand.

I'm excited to try it out (hopefully soon).

Correction. Took advantage of the BOGO MF sale today. Grabbed 4 Cobra hybrid twisted MF drying towels. 20 x 30. With a reward mile credit of $15 grabbed them for $31.57 including shipping. Always wanted to try them anyway.
