Turned a trashed soccer Mom’s luxury SUV back into a proper Supercharged Exotic. Lots of french fries, candy wrappers and glitter in all the cracks and crevices in the interior of this one!

Uro fiber pads, 3D One, Flex 3401 used for 1-step paint enhancement with a small amount of hand wet sanding on a few of the deeper RIDs. Artdeshine Ayicon ceramic coating.

100k miles and looks pretty close to new. I did the engine too and got rid of 10 years of filth. The new owner is very happy. Good thing he is also a mechanic with his own shop, as these things are a mechanical money pit! Thanks for looking.

Gorgeous. Have to love a RR!I really like them, awesome looking vehicles, but I now work for a company that services them and supplies parts, and the amount, and type of things that go wrong with them, I just couldn't bring myself to own one. We sell an "air to coil" conversion kit, usually bought after the air springs have failed for the second or third time. Lots of fuel pumps, brake discs, they are heavy, and lots of plastic trim clips.

They don't make them like they used to

They don't make them like they used toThey don't make them like they ever did. Even when rebuilt properly by mechanics who know what they're doing, and care, owners accept that another rebuild will be required in another 100k. Just something I overheard.

My father's business partner has had a string of Range Rovers including a 1997, a 2008 and a 2017. All have been lemons and spend more time in the shop than not. And yet, he keeps buying them. :dunno:
I say that as a fan of the JLR brands, so it hurts to say it. However, when working, they are transcendent!

It's like jeep, I really like their products, but they also have reliability issues, and the after sales service from jeep Australia is absolute rubbish, illustrated by the story below. I love the idea of a Grand Cherokee V8, but I could never do it.
