View Full Version : CarPro Waterless Wash as a Rinseless?

I'm new to the CarPro line having just used the Reset product for my ceramic coated car and I'm sold on it. i just purchased a few other CarPro products, including the waterless wash primarily for use as a quick detailer.

Although winter is behind, it's still on my mind. I prefer a rinseless product on a crud laden car winter car vs. a waterless, and I'm having a debate in my mind since CarPro has no rinseless product in their lineup.

I'm wondering if it is wise to use the CarPro waterless as a rinseless by adding 1-2 ounces of waterless to a bucket, soaking my wash towels, then spraying a coat of waterless to the paint, followed by the wipe down with a soaked towel. In general, that's the recommended process for the rinseless that I was using. This seems to make sense, but I really don't know and I prefer to learn from other's mistakes prior to making my own.

Has anybody tried this? Or should I use a dedicated rinseless product? Please share your thoughts and comment. Thanks in advance.

If your talking about Ech20, makes a great rinseless. Approximately 1oz per gallon. Good lubricity, dries well.

Klasse Act got me to try it and it is up there with Pure Rinseless and N-914 for me as a rinseless on coated cars.

Only caveat is it doesn’t leave the gloss for me like Ech20 at waterless. I like to use a good sio2 QD.

Megs Ceramic QD, Griots Ceramic speed shine are both good products for this. My favorite is Nova Boost but not cheap as it is imported from Australia. Polish angel Presto detailer is next one I try.

Thanks for the quick and thoughtful responses (brain fart excepting...but we all have those, so you're excused). I can confirm that my question is about the ECH20...I'm still getting used to the CarPro product names vs. generic. You guys gave me the info that I was hoping for and i'll be using that as my rinseless with about 1 oz. per gallon. Blessings to all.
