Asked a while back about coatings for the Rapid Red 2022 Ford Maverick I ordered. I finally have a build date, early June. My plan has been to use CQUK 3 as it has been the best seeming product. I have had really good luck with the CQuartz Lite I applied to my wife’s car about this time last year. It seems to be goi g strong and I haven’t even done any maintenance besides waterless & rinseless washing.

However, with poor health if I could find something easier it would be better. Something like GTECHNIQ CSL really appeals since it’s a one layer solution, (though the multiple layers of echo after dampens that).

Thoughts for long lasting coating with the least fuss/energy expenditure?

Mohs Evo is better than CSL.

Cquartz Lite is fine to apply as a one layer coating. Actually any of the Cquartz coatings can be applied with one layer.

You may want to look into the DP GR4 Graphene coating. That was very user friendly like all Autogeek coatings. I just used it a couple weeks ago on a customers car.

If you have no issues applying CQuartz Lite and you are considering CSL, I'd say stick with CarPro and go with CQUK. It is very easy to apply and will easily get you three years with simple washing.

One easy coating I always forget about is Poorboys ceramic.

Really thinking about single layer of CQUK 3.0.

That will work fine. UK3.0 is so easy to apply and such a good coating. The 2nd layer adds a little more protection but is mostly to ensure full coverage. If you take your time and pay attention to not miss spots, 1 layer will be enough.

groits 3 to 1 spray sealant. D0 it every 5 to 6 months and you will be happy. You can do a car faster then a shave and shower.

CQUK3.0 Applies and removes very similar to Lite. I typically only do one layer of them.

Feynlab Ceramic Lite is supposed to be one of the easiest coatings too.

I was always curious about this coating. The price is right. Don't see it mentioned much...

I just finished a customer with a 1 step polish and Gyeon Can Coat Evo. I can't imagine anything easier than Can Coat.

Revisiting this. I bought CQUK 3 for the Mav. Now I have to decide if it’s worth it to me to do the second coat.

For reference, the day I picked up the Mav I also onr rinseless washed the Navigator and did the whole GTECHNIQ G1 route on it’s windshield included the polishing. The next day I was bedridden until after lunchtime.
