View Full Version : Polish Angel Black Bond for tires??

So I was just skimming over the Polish Angel website window shopping like a kid looking into the petshop window at the puppies. I see they have a product for pretty much most detailing categories, but didn't really see tires. Searching closer Black Bond reads plastic and rubber.
Anyone ever use it on tires? Thoughts on how it compares to other products out there?
Anyone use Black Bond just in general and have thought on it?

I have tried it on trim.
I was not impressed. As much as I like several of their products ( P.A. ), there are some of them that I think are a down right waste of $ and could be considered borderline terrible. BB is one of those.

I know reading the forums PA seems to be either love it or leave it due to the prices. But I do also see those who try products either love them, or as you stated, kinda don't care at all for some. I think I read the glass products were not enjoyed by some as well.

The glass product "Driver " is worthless in my opinion, as is their entire "Viking "series.

I still haven't found a better & easier combo than Cosmic V2 and maintain with cosmic spritz.

High Gloss is pretty good also

The Diver glass cleaner? Absurdly expensive but love it for interior glass along with a Gyeon Silk Mitt; easy glass cleaning for my glass-challenged self.

Their glass coating Rain 9H was totally pointless though...completely ineffective.

I didnt think much of either- probably about the same results

Cosmic V2 for paint? It's not the toughest guy in the room but it is definitely visually delicious. Think of it more a a 'Super Sealant' as opposed to a multi-year ceramic coating. Easy & fun to use as well.

How are the aesthetics versus something like Master Sealant?

How are the aesthetics versus something like Master Sealant?To me, the Cosmic is a bit glassier while the Master Sealant + Rapidwaxx combo is slightly richer. MS + RW is also delightfully slick to the touch if that matters. I first used MS + Rapidwaxx on a bland 'ol Silver Mazda3 back in September 2018 and was quite surprised how nice it was.

I've kept a picture of that car since it was so notably (and a bit surprisingly) nice overall considering I'm a coating junkie and not really into sealants & waxes. I had used sealants before jumping into coatings, mostly Zaino, Wolfgang & HD Poxy but this stuff was nicer somehow...more 'distinguished' if that makes any sense.
