I ceramic coated both cars last year. Looks great. Can I get additional gloss using a si02 boost. Or what’s good to enhance the shine.
thanks

Options are endless, and honestly owning a black car has been a chore. I have almost literally tried everything out there, and come back to Polish Angel High Gloss for the gloss and dust repelling nature. Keep maintenance simple, I use ONR or N914 because it seems that trying to add more gloss has diminishing returns.

Most quick detailers are a fast and easy to add some Gloss. It doesn't necessarily need to be sio2 to achieve that.

But if I was to mess with a ceramic coated vehicle I'd probably opt for a CarPro product. Ech2o contains sio2, not at all enough to be a stand alone, but enough to give it some great gloss. It may or may not "boost" the coating though.

To really boost it. I'd go for something like CarPro Elixir, Reload, or Optimum Hyper Seal. Reload is a spray sealant, and Hyper Seal is a sort of Gloss Coat jr. Elixir is technically a quick detailer that is said to be able to be used as stand alone protection.

I don't typically boost or top my coatings, but I have dabbled a bit in a couple of them.

ECH2O - I use this diluted to 20:1 as a QD spray. Works great for QD duty and as a post-wash wipe down to knock out any stray water spots.

Elixr - A decent product, but I wouldn't use it as a QD spray, it's more of a topper. Application is a bit tricky since it will smear if you get it on too heavy and it's also a pain to apply in colder temps. HOWEVER, it does offer surprising protection. I think I got about 4 weeks out of it on an unprotected body panel on one of our vehicles. Between the two, ECH2O gets my vote from CarPro

Gyeon Cure - Used on CanCoat it looks amazing. Down side is it's hard to apply straight out of the bottle and your better off diluting it 1:1, which means you have to take it out of the spray bottle and put it in something else. A bit of a pain. I'm hearing Gyeon's Ceramic Detailer is much better and replaced Cure for some folks.

I have some, I really like it. I have M27 as my base and use M799 and Hybrid Ceramic Wax (spray) and have been getting great results. Now I will admit I haven't tried alot of different products like many members on here, so can't compare from a list. But from my experience with it I am happy and like it.
