Hey guys,

It's winter here in Minnesota and super cold. Which means it's dry. Normally my shop humidity is 25-35%. But the last couple days it's been 16-21%.

I'm worried about my leather seats and vinyl seats. What products are safe and will protect them?

It's only this dry for a couple months during the winter.

Thanks [emoji106]https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20220102/fa8ce3b9f0966f57961afccc578709d3.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20220102/db4fbb0481dff8150e4af64508c6a43e.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20220102/dcdad1dc1e4fd805752c5957dedcb283.jpg

Sent from my SM-G973U using TapatalkI've heard mixed reviews about that. Some have said not to put one in. As it being dryer is better than not. Generally, it doesn't stay this dry for long.

I'll probably order up some Wolfgang leather cleaner and conditioner. Just not sure if I can use it on vinyl seats?

I like and use Pinnacle Leather & Vinyl Coating and as the saying goes, I put that sh*t on everything in the interior (except carpet/fabric). I use Connolly Hide Cleaner to clean the leather. P&S Express to clean the interior though Stokdgs has me ready to try the Nextzett Plastic Vinyl Deep Cleaner.

The Guz likes Colourlock Leather Shield/Coating (one for new, one for older) and the mild cleaner.

I think any quality leather or interior upholstery product will work fine and help keep moisture in the seats and over the winter.

Blackfire, Pinnacle, and Wolfgang (Plus DP and likely another one or so) are all apart of Palm Beach Motoring Group. I like some products in each but not one of those brands has everything I want to use.

I think I'll try the Wolfgang leather stuff first. Do you know if it's safe on vinyl seats?

Exactly this. Colourlock makes a artificial leather protector but leather shield and leather protector will also work fine on vinyl.

No clue on Wolfgang being able to be used on vinyl. That's the main reason I went to Pinnacle Vinyl & Leather Coating so I can use one product for the entire interior especially since many cars with leather are either synthetic or vinyl backs. I use it on the dash, door panels, and of course the seats. Much quicker than dealing with multiple products. If I weren't going to use Pinnacle, I'd go with the Colourlock that The Guz recommends for leather. But I like Wolfgang too, and used to use Wolfgang Cockpit Trim Sealant along with their Exterior Trim Sealant, but I've moved on to more of coatings where I can.
