Hello all!

New to the site and have a question on equipment.
If you were going to spend the money on a new machine "First One".
What one would you get?
The Flex or the Cyclo?
Similar in price so what are the pros and cons??

Thanks in advance

I have used the Cyclo and while two smaller heads do work well, I feel the lack of speed adjustibility is a major consideration when using a ROB. It is also a bit heavier from my recollection .. the Cyclo that is, but again unscientific and based upon memory.

Thanks for the insight.

I'm going to have to go with the flex as well. I've only used it twice but has has noticable power over the cyclo and is easier to manuver into tighter areas and curved surfaces

I have to agree with Killrwheels. The Flex has superior cutting ability and of course variable speed. You can get much more work done in less time with the Flex and the Cyclo, while being a well made quality machine, is a bit more ackward and combersome a machine to use imo. I have used the Cyclo but I own the Flex.

I have both and to be honest I use both in every detail I do. I love the flex for it's speed and correction abilities, but the cyclo always has DG501 or 105 on it at all times. The cyclo is more versatile with the edge system, but be prepared to spend another $100 for that setup. The cyclo has a long lived reputation, well the flex is new and living up to it's hype :)

Good luck.
