I had a client come in last week for a interior detail only on a 2020 Toyota Camry, Midnight blue fully loaded. During drop off she approached me about removing some "minor' scratches on her hood. The minor scratches were not minor, they were caused by snow removal with a garden rake....yup not even a leaf rake. Without even touching it I could tell its a full repaint which she is not interested in. Question: What's your policy on working on repaint panels? Would you undertake wet sand and polish out as much as possible, thow a medium cut to round the gouges out or refuse to do anything?

I don't think there is a "one size fits all" answer.

Too many variables...
- Customer expectations
- Your reputation
- Your experience in similar cases; and your confidence in what can and what cannot be done in this particular case
- Do you need the work? Or do you have a backlog of more desirable jobs?

These are just a few considerations that come to mind.

"My insurance doesn't cover working on this type of damage" ;)
