Where do folks send your tools out for repair? Is there a specialty shop for polishers?
I have a flex polisher and a PC 7424 Type 2 that I would like to send off and have them freshened up

I do all of my maintenance and repairs myself... If I can't do it, I'll buy a new one.

The porter, meh, not worth the cost of a repair honestly.

Have sent my 10 year old Flex 3401 to Powerhouse twice and thoroughly pleased with their service. Fairly quick turnaround too.

I fix my Porter Cable myself. Simple stuff.

I will have to disagree with you here.

If the PC ever needs repair, it would most likely be from hundreds and hundreds of hours of use. And even then it would probably be worn brushes, or a faulty cord or trigger switch.

The PC is not a tool for professionals in this industry, but it certainly is a great tool for the weekend warrior.

And like John stated above, if you can fix it yourself, it's a no-brainer. :)

I'm with you, Paulie Bag 'O Donuts! My PC is over 20 years old and remains my favorite Coll 845 application device.

I'm probably on my 3rd chord and many many brushes and it's been dropped (and once kicked) and keeps on hauling the mail for me.
