Just inspected a new customer's car and the issue on the interior is the spilled drinks or something that has dripped down over the speaker grills in the doors. These are single line drips and not the entire grill panel (thankfully).

What method or tools do you use to clean them and not over saturate or damage the speakers themselves?

My thoughts are these options:

1. Lightly mist (cool) and then take a fine interior brush to the grill. Follow up with a air blower?

2. Use a Tornador at an angle and hit them and then wipe with MF cloth? Repeat as necessary.

3. Use a medium fluffy MF towel lightly dampened and light scrub and then dry with another MF towel?

Any best practices you have tried?

Sorry, did not get any photos to share with the forum.

Are you able to remove the door panel? If liquid spilled into the speaker grill you mike want to remove the door panel, so you can clean the spill from behind the door panel too. It would be much easier to clean with the panel removed IMO.

Without removing the door panel you can use an Interior Cleaner with a soft bristle brush and lightly agitate the surface before wiping it dry.

Lightly dampen the inside area of a MF and wrap it over a reasonably stiff detailing brush. Rub and lightly jab at the grill. Keep changing the position of the MF over the brush to maintain a clean part of the rag.

I wouldn't use something that was going to spray cleaning product onto the speaker.
