Hi,

Just wanted to say thanks to everyone for answering my questions and provide an update as it has been quite some time since I was on here asking for help. Been busy working on the car lol!!

I polished my daily for practice and maybe 3ish weeks ago started working on my camaro. Decontaminating, claying, polishing, and coating. Taking me forever because I am only working on it a few hours a night when I can. I am also super slow and take my sweet time!

I just got the first coat of CSL done, and I think it looks really good but I dont have any pics yet. Probably will get it out this weekend after I do two coats of EXO, take some pics and post in this thread. I can't believe how slick the CSL is!!! The lighting in my garage is not great and I am working on it in the evening/night time so I am using 3 towels to level, and just making sure I am going overboard with the leveling to make sure (hope) I dont have high spots. Using a flashlight isnt even really helping either. I realize I might not see high spots until I take it outside though.

just two more coats of EXO in the next 1-2 days, let it cure in the garage until this weekend, and hopefully that will be it with the paint work!

I am also really happy with how the polishing turned out!!! The car looks great!! The back bumper was the worst area with some larger scratches and such and this pretty much all came out and I am super happy with it. Ended up going with the blue HDO pad with sonax cutmax, and then finishing it with yellow rupes pad and sonax perfect finish on the whole car. The yellow rupes pads and the perfect finish was not enough cut for the micro marring and swirls alone.

Here are some before and after of the bumper for now.

My wife is going to be real happy when I am done working on the car all the time... but I think after this week, I want to CSL the wheels!

Thank you!

I have been into "light" detailing for a long time. I think my first autogeek purchase was in 2008 or so lol. I would clay bar and wax, but not really anything more serious. for some time I wanted to pick up a DA so I could do my own polishing, but I did not really want to spend the time on my daily, truck or the wifes car.
