Any recommendations for an easy way to apply a tire dressing to off-road tires? I've used your typical applicator, and even a sponge to apply Hyper Dressing. Worked OK, but looking for something quicker and better. Is there a foam type dressing that works well? Applying the dressing to my tires is a bit of a PITA to be honest for something I feel should be more simple.

Get yourself a FLAGGED TIPPED BRUSH. Spray your choice of tire protectant directly on the brush. Then go around the tires to dress them. Works perfect every time!

One of the best tips I’ve learned from AGO was this one from Pro 4x. Too bad I’ve largely switched to tire coatings but I still use this and 253 on my wife’s and kid’s vehicles.

Agreed!... I always use a brush to spread and even out tire dressings.

I've seen you mention this before and the brush you use, but how would it work on a car with lower profile tires? Would the same brush work or would you need to go with something smaller like this: Carrand Brush & Shine Tire Dressing Applicators, tire brush, tire shine applicator (https://www.autogeek.net/carrand-tire-dressing-brush.html) ?

I use a cheap foam applicator today, but always looking for ways to do it better/cheaper

I think the one you linked would be ok for low profile tires.

Feathered tip wheel brushes work great as tire dressing applicators for oversized off-road tires. Short Handle Tire/Wheel Brush (https://www.autogeek.net/shorhantirwh.html)

On standard size tires and low-profile tires i like to use the Speed Master Tire Dressing Applicators - Speed Master Tire Dressing Applicator (https://www.autogeek.net/speed-master-tire-applicator.html)

I use the Car Pro applicator for mine and hold it at an angle to fit the profile of the tire but mine aren't super low profile.

Duragloss has this one:

On 4wd truck tires I think it's easiest to use a spray tire dressing.

Spray on with a Rim Brim would work well. Lot’s of space between car and tires

For low pro tires the Carrand does not well with tire dressing, at least for me. I still use the Speed Master tire applicator or a MF one.

For larger tire sidewalls, I have been using a version of the Speedmaster applicator linked above.

(Excuse the non-AG product.)

These work really well on low-profile tires as well.

I'm also using a large detailing brush a fair bit at the moment.

That brush you use here looks interesting. I think I'd like that better than the one I linked above. It would be much easier to hold and manipulate while applying a product.

I've used the Speedmaster applicator mentioned earlier, but didn't really like it. I found a cheap, box-store, brand applicator was easier to use and applied dressing more smoothly.

Thanks for the tips, good stuff. I'm going to start with the brush and take it from there.
