I have a brand new 2021 Honda Passport Elite that was ceramic coated.

Just washed it using Meguirs Gold Car Shampoo (orange colored) and now there's a funky stink on the outside paint and plastic and glass surfaces of the car.
I tried using severa types of exterior detailing spray for ceramic coated cars and the funky stink is still on the car.

Question:
Due to chemical and scent allergies:

1. Is there an "unscented" neutral PH Balanced car shampoo/soap that I can use?

2. Is there a product that will remove the stink off the outside of my car?

Thanks everyone for you kind help.

I’m not aware of any unscented car soaps, they all mostly have strong scents, to me they’re usually pleasant.

I wouldn’t use Gold Class on a coated car, it will reduce the performance of the coating. But I’ve never seen it leave a stink on anything, it smells good to me.

CarPro Reset had a scent but is mild and in my opinion it is the best soap for a coated car.

IMO:
You may actually need a really great
smelling car-wash shampoo in order
to overcome that funky stink. :dunno:

Regardless:
I’m going to suggest one that’s specially
formulated for Ceramic Coatings; and has
an aroma that doesn’t kick-up any kind of
ruckus with my chemical and scent allergies.
