View Full Version : Another German Beauty gets the business

This time a long time Member of my racing group who has brought me his Toyota FJ in the past, brought over his better half's SUV. This tasteful beast his a fun little gem of a turbo 6 under the hood and shrouds it's potential with soccer mom styling.

Not every vehicle I do ends up with a Ceramic Coating and this is another example of a daily driver that will see it's subscription to a tunnel car wash system fulfilled thus just a basic clean and protect with a good sealant applied. It really helped as living in a "construction zone" for new-builds and having been through a winter season here, left it pretty badly contaminated and in need of a fresh start.

Thanks again to Adam for his continued trust in my work and props for keeping the FJ in such GREAT shape after all that time!

Wash, Decontamination with Black Fire Iron Remover, Medium Nano Mitt; followed by a good one-step with Sonax Paint Cleaner using my Flex Polishers, both the XCE and 3401 wearing L.C. Orange Hybrid Force and Orange Flat Pads. Final wipe down done with Beadmaker for a nice slick feel.

I am trying to look at the pictures while I am at the park with my daughter and can't tell if that's straightwhite or pearl white[emoji848]

That looks great! Still tough to think it's gonna go through a meat grinder regularly.

Pure white. No pearl. Love the interior and the power. Outside is pretty boring. Needs nicer wheels for sure. Sounds good though. It's a soccer mom vehicle though.

Very nice. The X3 M40i is surprisingly fast for what it is. My wife and I drove one before getting her X5 and we were both astonished when we put our foot in it.

Yeah, BMW nailed it a couple years back when they updated the power levels to this platform. It's a perfect power balance for a daily driver for sure. Now if they would just fix their latest abomination of their grills. LOL!
