Yvan, the former OPT guy, shows in several videos using Spray wax as a clay lube for a clay towel. I’d like to do this but prefer using an old fashion clay bar (pinnacle ultra fine atm). Can I do this?
If yes, do I use the ‘place the clay where I spray’ that he demonstrates or should I spray the wax broader across the panel? Also thought of leaving the ONR residue (ie not drying the panel) when I do this.

My thought is that using a spray wax as a clay lube would actually decrease the clay's effectiveness as the wax would prove to be too "slippery" as a lubricant and thus prevent the clay from getting a good "hold" on the surface contaminant(s).

•Perhaps this may be interpreted as a
rant from a fixed-income person…but:
-No way I'd ever pay $50.00 a gallon
for a Clay-lube!!

Instead:
•I use my favorite RW diluted @ 1:256
for my Clay lube:
-Cost: ~$.13 per/gallon.
Let’s see…that’s a measly [miserly (?)]
13˘ per gallon vs. $50.00 per gallon.
Oh well, ’Ballers be balling’…

are you planning on doing any polishing after claying?

No, it would be light claying and using the spray wax as the LSP.
