This is a review of the new Detailer's Pride Quick Coat as part of the release of new products in the DP Ceramic Collection. PMBG was kind and gracious enough to send out the Ceramic Collection and asked that I do some honest reviews on the products. No financial remuneration was received as part of the review of this product. I have been using Detailer's Pride products since their release back in 1998. They are excellent products for the money and get the job done. When purchased on one of the frequent large sales they are super economical.
Detailer's Pride Quick Coat is an SIO2 based spray sealant that is claimed to provide enhanced gloss, slickness, and hydrophobics to the paint surface along with up to 12 months of protection. The test subject for the DP Quick Coat was my white 2012 Jeep Sahara. I decided not to ceramic coat my Jeep and typically use this vehicle to test new products or to use up old sealants/spray sealants that I have in my cabinet. Just about every wash I am typically applying some type of protection to it. For the purpose of this test and since I also received the new DP Ceramic Sealant as well, I decided to split the vehicle in two and use the Quick Coat on one side and the Ceramic Sealant on the other. I figured this would be a good test for ease of application, beading, looks, and durability between the two products. Although there are no durability claims on the DP Ceramic Sealant, it does claim to have "self cleaning" properties so it will be interesting to see how the two sides compare. The Ceramic Sealant does cost slightly more at $29.99 for 12 ounces.

Directions:
-Wash car of all surface debris and dry before using DP Quick Coat.
-Working in 2 x 2 sq. ft. areas, spray directly onto the surface.
-Wipe away using a clean microfiber towel.
-Flip to a new side and buff away any excess product.
-For even more gloss and protection, an additional coating can be applied after 24 hours.
Thoughts and Observations:
Detailer's Pride Quick Coat is extremely easy to use and a little goes a long way. I found that DP Quick Coat had the feel of a quick detailer and literally "melted" into the paint leaving very little behind to buff off. As you know in some cases of spray waxes or spray sealants the product can be somewhat heavy and have a drag over the paint surface making it sometimes difficult to buff and remove to avoid streaks. DP Quick Coat was super easy to apply and a small flip of my microfiber towel removed any residue with no streaking. I was also applying in the shade with temps around 90 degrees. I did notice an immediate increase in gloss and slickness on the surface after applying. We are set to get some storms this week so I am curious to see the hydrophobics and beading. I will try and snap some pictures and post a follow up.
Overall if the claims of 12 months of durability hold true I would say this is could be a pretty impressive product. Detailer's Pride Quick Coat applied virtually like a quick detailer with no streaking issues at all and offers durability over most sealants.
