Hi all,

I already have plans to put CQuartz UK 3.0 on my new vehicle in a few days.
I know this lasts a good 2+ years in terms of hydrophobic (beading) and chemical protection.

However, I've always been on the search for a good quality hydrophilic/sheeting paint wax/sealant/coating.
I've seen Pan and a few other youtubers review Malco CR2 spay sealant, but only lasts about 6mo on average from what I've been seeing/reading.
I also know Turtle Wax Ice Spray Wax has more sheeting properties than beading compared to other spray waxes.

Can anyone recommend something other than Malco CR2 in terms of water sheeting?
I wasn't sure, but does Carpro GLISS provide sheeting properties?

I'm looking for both a simple spray wax (maintenance coats) as well as a more long term sealant and coating options.

Look into Gtechniq Crystal Serum Light or 3D ceramic if you are looking for sheeting style coatings.

Gliss is hydrophobic.

•Offhand, I can’t think of an LSP that
will cause water to fully wet a surface,
and then just slide off that surface:
-ie: “Hydrophilic Sheeting”

•On the other hand:
-Dr. Beasley’s FORMULA 1201 is
advertised to ‘cause water to be cast
aside from the surface without beading’;
-ie: “Hydrophobic Sheeting”
