How would keep it up on a regular basis and which products would you use?

I'm open to water baths as well as waterless option. I've seen some waterless washes have a lot of wax in them. Would this change the glassy, slick look that CanCoat has?

I'm looking for products that work great with CanCoat.

Thanks in advance for any help and advice.

Carpro Ech20…mix 1:10 as a rinseless….works great on bikes….put it in a spray bottle….

If you want to get even better, use car pro elixir

CarPro ECH2O Waterless Wash & Quick Detail Spray (https://www.autogeek.net/carpro-ech20.html)

Haven’t used CanCoat but looked a lot into it. (Actually ordered it but was going to take forever from Amazon and changed my mind when I ordered from Autogeek after canceling). There doesn’t seem to be a waterless/rinseless option in the Gyeon line.

Maybe folks have tried CarPro Ech2o but it has SIO2 in it. ONR and Opticlean have very little left over, just no durable polymers. Heard the same about the Duragloss and Ultima options. The Megs product I heard was the absolute best but they stopped making it before I needed any more.

ETA: opticlean now says “protect” didn’t think it used to say that but apparently it does leave something behind.

Oh, and anything you put on top will effect it. Safer bet would be an SIO2 product and safest would be from Gyeon but it would have to be a full wash product.

CarPro EcH20 works good with any coating. Won’t leave the most durable protection but will leave gloss and slickness.

McKee’s N914 if you are looking for a straight cleaning rinseless. You can follow with the topper of your choice. For example Gyeon Cure.

McKee’s SiO2 rinseless wash will leave pretty stout protection with the SiO2. It can be used as a waterless, rinseless, quick detailer, drying aid. Essentially a one stop shop.

As far as actual shampoo any will work. For example CarPro Reset, Meguiar’s Hyper Wash are two examples of good options.
