Mopar matte black decals... mask them?

Guys,

I’m about to do an AIO with HD Speed on this challenger.

Would you put masking tape over these, or would you just work around them? Speed has never left a significant mess in the past, but I’ve never worked around these newer mopar decals.

Depends if your comfortable not taping. Doesn’t take long to tape off.

I taped. I tried without, and the elbow grease to clean them isn’t worth the time I’d instead spend taping.

Lesson learned with every job I do.

Some tape leaves more residue than others.

Agree with the Guz. I had "light stick" painters tape actually leave a mark on the matte on my Challengers stripes
