I'll be attending this event and always love to meet other detailers and online friends.

Looks like I'm first up on Saturday for the Question & Answers event on the center stage.

Mike are you doing any demos? Need a boat for a demo?

Here's the classes I'm teaching,

1: Glass Polishing

This class will cover two types of glass polishing to restore crystal clear glass.
1. Topical Glass Polishing to remove water spots, drizzle stains and traffic film.
2. Sub-Surface Glass Polishing to remove wiper marks, scratches and pits.
3. How to install a Ceramic Glass Coating

2: Boat Detailing

This class will show you how to take a neglected boat to a respected boat including,
1. Machine wetsanding to remove deep oxidation.
2. Rotary Polisher Techniques – To remove sanding marks and heavy oxidation.
3. Orbital Polisher Techniques – To remove holograms and create a show boat finish.
4. How to install a Ceramic Gelcoat Coating – To lock in the shine and lock out future oxidation.

3: Wetsanding by Machine

This class will show you how to remove orange peel, surface texture, mottling and other topical imperfections using 3M Trizact sanding discs.

1. Machine damp sanding techniques – To level and flatten the paint surface.
2. Rotary Polisher Techniques – to remove sanding marks after machine damp sanding.
3. Orbital Polisher Techniques – To remove holograms and create a 100% swirls-free finish.
4. How to install a Ceramic Coating to create a super high gloss finish that lasts for years.

4: The secret to reducing paint correction time

This class will cover how to do high quality one-step paint correction for daily drivers.

1. Paint correction is a time-killer. Learn Mike’s secret for dramatically reducing buffing time.
2. Abrasive Quality – the MOST important factor when it comes to an AIO.
3. Gear-driven versus free-spinning orbital polishers – which and why?
4. Foam Pads versus Microfiber Pads – which pad and why?
5. Ceramic AIOs the emerging new one step category.
6. Toppers – Quick, fast easy ways to top any AIO.

5: How to machine clean tires and install a Tire Coating

This class will cover the differences plus benefits of tire coatings as compared to tire dressings and when to use one over the other plus,

1. Tire coatings bond to the rubber and dry to the touch.
2. Tire coatings last longer and look good longer than tire dressings.
3. Tire coats are not messy like tire dressings.
4. Know which tires to coat and which tires to NOT coat.
5. Like a quality paint job – the key to success is all in the prep work.

Here's what works best for a demo boat - a boat with a tall hull, dark in color in really really bad condition. These are the kinds of boats I use for my boat detailing classes,

Boat Detailing Training - Before & After Pictures - The MOST DOCUMENTED HANDS-ON Boat Detailing Classes - Autogeek - Stuart, Florida (https://www.autogeekonline.net/forum/2-day-boat-detailing-classes-info-and-dates/125279-boat-detailing-training-before-after-pictures-most-documented-hands-boat-detailing-classes-autogeek-stuart-florida.html)

Here's the results from my Test Spot and the process I used to get these results the class will duplicate to the rest of the boat when class starts.

AFTER

Here's the final results....

If by chance you have such a boat, I would be okay with doing a demo on it but the problem is - I can't finish the job. And the only way you'll get the same results over the rest of the boat is to duplicate the exact process I use to the rest of the boat. I don't want to leave Kentucky and leave you hanging in the wind.

The classes are 50 minutes long and that means you'll get this out of me.

Last one....

Here's 5th class topic,

5: How to machine clean tires and install a Tire Coating

This class will cover the differences plus benefits of tire coatings as compared to tire dressings and when to use one over the other plus,

1. Tire coatings bond to the rubber and dry to the touch.

5. Like a quality paint job – the key to success is all in the prep work.

First the tires were machine scrubbed to get them surgically clean before installing the tire coating.
