Hey guys,

I've recently switched over to just doing rinseless washes so this way I can wash inside my shop and not have to worry about getting water spots on the cars.

I was wondering what the best rinseless wash towels are?

I've been using the forest green edgeless polishing cloths over my last couple of washes but I need to switch to something different.

I also do exclusively rinseless, and have various towels from different manufacturers, but all of them are 360 GSM ....too much “plush” doesn’t work as well.

I use the Cobra Shine and Buff towels for rinseless, which is also my primary wash.

Perhaps I can repurpose them. They are 600 GSM.

Glen [emoji121]says he's had the best luck with 360 GSM towels.

I may just have to try the Shine and Buff now and then try some others later.

Thanks guys!

These are decent, right in the sweet spot of plush but not too plush at 400 gsm.

90% of the vehicles I do are rinseless. The towels I use are 16x16 Eagle Edgeless Microfiber Towel - Blue (https://www.autogeek.net/rc-eagle-edgeless-blue.html) I also use a traditional two bucket method with a microfiber wash mitt. Either way works great.

I use Edgeless 400GSMs (forgot where I found them now) - but thinking these new TRCs sound like they would work great:

Unless I'm wrong, these are meant more for wax/compound removal, not as a RW towel.

Quoting Mike - "All I know is - I like them. For removing compounds, polishes, AIOs and basically anything "paint" related."

Well if they can remove wax = they can remove dirt - also seems like the nap is going to capture dirt nicely! On top of that they are 550GSM - so soft and non scratchy / stiff = a perfect combo for Rinseless Wash towel in my book.

But hey - there's always the tried and true:
TRC Edgeless (https://www.autogeek.net/rc-eagle-edgeless-orange.html)

FYI - I prefer Orange color for this purpose - it's super easy to see the dirt as it builds up so you know when you need to swap sides and or towels.

I tried these late last summer and love them for RW’s.

Yep, those towels are very nice. I also use them on the interior areas that are piano black which tend to get swirls if you look at them the wrong way.

I put in an order last week and wanted to order these, but they seem not to be pre-orderable, which is kind of a shame, because with GG there is a hefty shipping charge if you don't meet the minimum order amount.

I normally use the Big Red Sponge but on the few occasions I go for towels, I use these:

Shine & Buff Waterless Wash Towel (https://www.autogeek.net/best-waterless-wash-towel.html)

Really nice towel and I like that the 2 sides have different colors as it’s easier to manage the sides as I’m flipping the towel between passes.
