Windshield polishing, pad & product suggestion?

Noticed that my 48 year old car’s windshield looks a bit worn, not sure if polishing will help. Figure it is worth a try though. What do you guys suggest?

I was thinking of the same but the windshield on my 9 year old car had too many pits so I just had it replaced. But if you're going to try to polish the glass, you need something with cerium oxide due to the hardness of glass. Carpro Ceriglass with cooresponding Carpro Rayon Glass Polishing pads is one of the most known products for polishing glass.
