So this thing is pi$$ing me off recently! I've replaced the felt tip, took it apart and rinsed it out, everything (I think)

The issue is when I pump it up it starts foaming between the tank and lid and DOES NOT spray out. The foam is like building up and getting out and yes, its screwed down anuggly.

Thoughts?

BTW I have 2 of the original IK Foamers that I have Z E R O issues with, along with my IK 1.5, a little again....Z E R O issues.

I'm leaning towards a Marolex 3000 (obviously not sold here) but the damn shipping is $22.00 because there's one place to buy it from (apparently our buddy Scott sold his business[emoji848]) and I'm not sure if I'll get a replacement of not. I might just use the one from AMMO NYC for Brake Buster, you see I like keeping one product in my various IK's...one for Griot's Garage Poly Gloss, one for Auto-Fanatic foaming wheel cleaner and the IK 1.5 for various carwash pre-wash products.

I never had an issue with the original IK foamers either... There is a state side vendor for the Maralox Sprayers. I will PM you the link.

Not had that problem with my pro 12. Both my 1.5 developed leaks in the seams of the spray head and don’t hold pressure.

I bought a repair kit from The Rag Company because I needed this o-ring for the tip and they sent me this kit which didn't have what I needed[emoji849] I ended buying an entire tip which contained that o-ring I needed but what do I do with this kit.

It had the rubber plug that goes into the bottom of the clear tube as well as a larger o-ring that goes into the top...so I replaced them both. I pumped up the foamer and it sprayed a straight line[emoji36]

I guess I'll just use my original IK foamer for foaming wheel cleaner and the other for Griot's Garage Poly Gloss. I really HATE when things don't work, this is why German or Japanese made is always best!

I have one of the original Sprayers and Love it.
Had two of the new IK Foamers. The first one...I had issues with it doing something similar to what you are experiencing. It did it on and off. Just made for a lackluster experience.
Also, not what you are experiencing but the Output Pattern was horrible. I tried multiple dilution ratios and , at best, would get 3/4 of a fan pattern with a portion missing.
I took it apart and cleaned it , changed the felt tip, and even tried the different colored valves. Nothing.
I contacted IK directly and we exchanged emails on possible remedies, 99% of which I had done.
They ended up shipping me a new unit. It was better but, after awhile, I ended up parting them out and tossing them.
I know others have had good luck with them but I wasnÂ’t thrilled.
I will give kudos to the company for trying to help.

Good Luck Klaase Act.

So I cleaned it out and thought that larger o-ring was for it inside the actual foamer...it wasn't! Once I wedged it up in there, filled with Brake Buster it then wouldn't do anything. I took it out, rinsed it out and cranked the foamer part down REAL tight L...AND THEN IT WORKED...for now[emoji39]

We'll see in time, stay "tuned"[emoji118]
