ive been using zep apc at 10:1 as my go too. locally its cheap for the gallon. ive seen multi x ,d101 , and now Gyeon came out with an apc. are they pretty much all the same? would there be a better alternative to what I have now? looking for something safe for all interior and exterior including aluminum. ive never used zip at 4:1 either, it seems to work fine at 10:1. I don't get my cars that dirty to use heavy dilution. but with winter it comes in handy if a product works faster than another!

Zep makes a sh!t ton of good products, incl. many "all-purpose" and "multi-purpose" cleaners, both in their home/retail line of products as well as their commercial/professional line of products.

I'm going to guess that you are using their "Multi-Green" APC, since you said you got it locally and for cheap.

If you want to step up in power in the Zep lineup AND you want to make sure it's safe for aluminum (and just about anything else), check out this Zep product :

https://www.zep.com/product/zepcorporate/zep-zds-50

Zep ZDS 50 is designed as a heavy-duty cleaner and degreaser in the ZDS Select set of products. It is a non-toxic, non-abrasive, non-flammable, biodegradable, cleaner and degreaser designed for use on all washable surfaces.

Convenient, Economical Packaging - ZDS 50 is packaged in an easy to handle container made to work with Zep’s ZDS Dilution system for more cost-effective use.
Powerful Cleaning Action - ZDS 50 rapidly removes dirt and grime from a wide variety of surfaces.
Highly-Effective Degreaser - ZDS 50 rapidly removes food grease and many industrial oils and greases.
Versatile - ZDS 50 can be used anywhere surfaces are not affected by water. ZDS 50 may also be used by hand, through a pressure washer or an auto scrubber.
Metal Safe - ZDS 50 will not harm metal surfaces, including aluminum, when used as directed on the label.

OPC for me....at least for right now. Koch Chemie GS and Bilt Hamber Surfex HD are next on my list to try

Yes I am using the green apc from zep which is dilutable. I also own zep fast 505 which doesn’t seem to be dilutable. I’ve read that zep citrus isn’t really friendly on some surfaces. I feel the d101 from megs is the same as zep just being higher on the ph scale. Zep seems to be safer at 10-11ph.

Is there any concentrate degreaser that doesn’t have citrus and that is safe on most surfaces interior/exterior? Zep citrus is cool but can’t be used on certain surfaces...I’ve looked at p&s enviro clean to start

The d-limonene from the citrus is finicky on certain surfaces. Was trying to stay away from that lol

The Zep product I mentioned earlier is not citrus-based and is safe.
