Do the baggy test and only if your paint is rough would you want to clay it. Remember the paint, including clear coat, is very thin and will be “attacked” by the elements as soon as it comes off the line so we don’t want to do any more to the paint than we need to including clay and polish.

Clay if last polishing work was more than 6 months ago..

Me? I'll just use it w/o clay if you feel that paint is smooth enough for you.

Don't need to over think---Is paint clean and smooth? Jump in and git er done!

I have both BF SIO2 and BF Hybrid LW and to be honest still can't decide which I prefer. SIO2 glows more, like you've covered the car in glass so the reflection is amazing. The Hybrid LW gives off more of a cozy warm look / feeling, I guess from the wax. After a year with SIO2, I'll be going back to the hybrid again and see how that feels. The protection doesn't seem to last as long as SIO2, but depending on the quality of your car's finish and your own tastes it might come out ahead. So try (and enjoy) both!
