I have a 81 cj single stage paint that I am working on. For a 81 its in really good shape. Today it hit 60 in northern Michigan so I worked outside I washed it then clayed it and washed it again. I used some DG 526 to help with cleaning the paint and oxidation (its maroon). So next week I will get out the PC and start with my menzerna products followed with some carnuba.
So my question is this with all the latches windshield hinges and all the other things to polish around what is the best way to keep the dried white compounds from getting into the bolts phillips head screws ect? I know I will have to use my MF towels to get into some but nothing is worse than white residue left in hard to get areas.
Cheers
Mike
