2005 Ram 1500, does need to be washed though. Tomorrow once it warms back up will get out the foam gun etc.

Some effort, the right tools and products.

What is your plan for tomorrow

Well gonna get out the APC and go over the black trim spots really well, and inside the fenders etc.

Then gonna spray the engine compartment down and clean that with the APC.

Then do the tires and wheels.

Then foam it, let that soak, rinse it off then foam it again and wash it.

Then dry it completely, with towels and my blower.

Use some Fuzion Spay Wax and go over the paint and the outside windows. Don't need to clay it again because I just did it when I did the correction. Has a good base of WDGPS on it now.

Then use some trim dressing and go over the black trim.

Quite the contrary... White almost always looks good.

And its about as easy as it gets to maintain.

The only thing that is harder to do on white than other colors is wet-sanding and correcting... When wet sanding it is a harder to see your progress as the low points do not stand out as readily as with other colors. And when correcting the swirls and scratches do not stand out as readily as with other colors.

So, inspecting white during the processing is tougher, but just about every other aspect of white is either similar to or easier than other colors.

White and silver are pretty easy to maintain I think, Red isn't so bad either.

I think black is the hardest, well the clear coat blacks are anyway, I think the older single stage was easier, somewhat.

I may get slammed, but I can understand why people choose white rides. Cooler, doesn't show as much dust as darker colors, but oh is it boring. Reminds me of a commercial vehicle like what the state has.

Didn't get to finish it up today, temps never got out of the 30's, tomorrow will be much better and warmer.

Since I will be using water for what I am doing and all outside, not in the garage.

That cold snap we had set me back a day, it's my truck so no real hurry.

Took me 2 days to do a full correction, washed, clayed and compounded one day and polished and waxed the next.

Interior already gone over.

So the rest is just finishing up some things and washing it at the same time.

It did need a lot of work, it sits out in the weather 24/7 and I hadn't really done much to it in like 3 years.

Other than wash it now and then and go over it with a spray wax here and there.

Then it just sat for awhile due to the current things going on and I just never really had the time until now to really do what I needed to do to it, family stuff going on.

So it was in pretty rough shape, and then with the lawn service next door spraying grass and dirt all over it every week.

So yeah, it really needed a lot of work.

Wasn't like the Jeep SUV that lives in the garage.

I hear you, I do have some BF One Step coming so I will likely use that to just buzz over it twice a year moving forward.:buffing:

I can really buzz fast with the 3401. :buffing:

Just did a full correction, WGTSR, WGFG and WG DGPS.
