Why not? Try it! Since April I've been mixing Acrylic waterless wash and fortifying it with Acrylic spray wax and using it as a drying aid. Couldn't be happier with the results. The waterless wash has the lubricity I want for drying and removes any water spots I may have missed during the wash or spots that are forming while I dry the car. The added Acrylic spray wax bumps up the protection, shine and beading. Pretty damn economical too. Works great on the paint, glass and wheels.

I played around with ratios till I got it right. Actually I just kept adding in the Acrylic spray wax incrementally till it steaked then backed off a little. Took a few washes to get the mix just right.

Ultima Acrylic Waterless Wash Concentrate (https://www.autogeek.net/ultima-acrylic-waterless-wash.html)

Ultima Acrylic Spray Wax (https://www.autogeek.net/ultima-acrylic-spray-wax.html)

As they say. Nothing ventured, nothing gained.

Sounds like "Klaase act" might have competition for "Frankentailer"

The Acrylic WW dilution ratio is 22:1 so I did that in a MEG's qt. spray bottle. Then I ultimately added 4 oz. of the spray wax. That ratio of WW to spray wax works well. You'll have to play with ratio's if your not using the same product as me. I'd mix products from the same company's product line so you get synergy. Also mix products with the same viscosity. So mix SIO@ waterless wash with Si02 spray sealant not thicker viscosity paint sealant.

I had a bad dream last night too... I'm about half-way done polishing and waxing my truck in the garage. Gonna finish today.

In my dream, actually a nightmare, when I pulled the truck out into natural light it had every kind of flaw imaginable... Swirls and scratches still there, holograms, DA pigtails, marring of every type, streaks and smears in the wax coating, you name it, it had it.

Then I awoke.

Bad dream, eh?

Wishing you, again, a Good Night.

Isn't this what CarPro Elixir basically is? Ech2o (an sio2 waterless/rinseless wash), Reload (an sio2 sealant), and a bit of Hydro2 iirc.

Yes they are both homemade concoctions. Elixir is Si02 based and mine is Acrylic polymer based. My car sit's outside 24/7 and I've found Si02 products give me grief with water spots that are hard to remove. Acrylic polymers have eliminated that problem for me.

Mixing products with a wash product will work if they are water based. You'd have to ask the manufacturer if a particular product is water or solvent based.

well guys my bad dream became a realty today....it rained hard here the other day so my car got washed...so today I mixed 50/50 WF SIO2 waterless spray wash and BF SIO2 paint sealant and it buffed on and off easy....I am glad I did it the car came out smooth and glossy...

Nice, but I think your using way to much BF Si02 paint sealant. I think you can get great results using much less. By my calculations if your making your concoction in a qt. bottle your using .50 cents of rinseless wash and $25 of Si02 sealant. Not very economical.

I'm assuming your using:
BLACKFIRE Wet Diamond Waterless Wash Concentrate, car wash concentrate (https://www.autogeek.net/blackfire-waterless-wash-concentrate.html)
BLACKFIRE SiO2 Spray Sealant (https://www.autogeek.net/blackfire-sio2-spray-sealant.html)

The sealant component in my mix equals about 12%. Yours equals 50%. My mix cost $3 a qt. Yours costs $25 a qt.
